I was in Vancouver last week, and while I was there, I took some time off to make a video on a really remarkable study on the science of attraction.
The study was performed by researchers at UBC back in the 70’s, and it analyzed the relationship between fear, attraction and anxiety. The video is a bit nerdy and technical (I’m a nerd at heart), but I think you’ll get a lot out of it.
For those of you who are interested in finding out more about the study, the full copy is here (membership required).
One of the things that makes Love Systems really special is that we try our best to provide quality, scientifically backed and practical dating advice to our students. Our system isn’t just based on what a bunch of guys think is good for picking up, it’s actually based on a large amount of research, both scientific studies like the one I’m going to talk about in this video, and the slightly-less-scientific research that we’ve done over many years of studying what works best for our students.
The fact is, we’re mostly ahead of scientists when it comes to figuring out the science of attraction. That’s because we have half a dozen guys in the field every weekend, taking notes on what works, while most university researchers are stuck in their laboratories performing surveys on what people think they want.
